Rolex’s little brother, Tudor Watches, has unveiled its new Pelagos FXD watch ahead of its pro cycling team’s first ever participation in the Giro d’Italia. The Giro d’Italia is one of the three great cycling races, the other two being the famous Tour de France and the lesser-known Vuelta a España. Each of these grand tours lasts three weeks, climbing the Alps, Dolomites and Pyrenees in epic, day-long stages, with each race covering more than 3,000km in total. If you know anything about tennis, you might think of the Giro d’Italia as the equivalent of Roland Garros, a very important competition with top players but in the shadow of the more famous event – especially for Americans.
